Carolina BBQ Turkey Panini

Here's #1 of my 3-part series on utilizing Carolina BBQ sauce in some super delicious ways.  This would be super good on the day after Thanksgiving when you're in need of recipes for leftover turkey.

Carolina BBQ Turkey Panini
(makes 1 sandwich)

1 ciabatta roll, sliced in half
6oz. roasted turkey, sliced
2 slices gruyere cheese
1/4 cup Carolina BBQ Sauce
1 tbsp mayonnaise
Pickle slices


Preheat a panini grill.

Spread barbeque sauce and mayonnaise onto the inside of the ciabatta slices

Top the bottom slice with roasted turkey.  Add pickles, then cover with cheese, followed by the top bun.

Place onto the panini grill and cook until the cheese has melted and the bread is browned.

Serve with extra barbeque sauce.
